For the first time we had "Book-Back Recitals".  Students had to choose a solo piece that was at least seven pieces back from their current working piece.   They were able to use more advanced technique, such as vibrato, on a piece they knew so well.  They were also allowed to make their own variation of the piece if they wanted, such as changing the key and playing all up-bow staccato.

These recitals were the most confident and creative we've ever had!
